About The Event
The Chugach National Forest seeks citizen scientists to gather information on site conditions and visitor trends in Culross Passage.
- Participants will be asked to visit up to 4 sites to record information using an app downloaded onto their phone or tablet. Each site visit takes approximately 1 hour.
- A short training will be available on our website or provided in person by the Forest Service in Whittier or Girdwood.
- Due to COVID-19, the Forest Service will not be able to offer transportation to PWS for this program in 2020. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation.
- Space is available for up to 2 participants with 2 kayaks.
