Elrington Island Marine Debris Cleanup

Join us for our Elrington Island marine debris cleanup. This is a boat-based effort to clean up shorelines along Elrington Island. The work group will be camping at the same location each night, and working onboard a Forest Service vessel to access remote beaches.

PWSSF and the Forest Service are collecting data on the volume and types of debris found in PWS. We will be monitoring and collecting data at two beaches during this cleanup, which can take up to 90 minutes per site.

We look forward to having assistance with this effort. Please note:

• Roundtrip transportation will be provided by Forest Service vessel for volunteers. Volunteers MUST be 18 years or older to ride on the vessel.

• Food and personal camping gear are not provided. Some group gear and snacks are provided.

• A $125 registration fee per person is required to reserve your spot.
